Calcuttans are the most shameless people who lack civic sense
Beware of the shameless Calcuttan...
Think not twice but thrice before you invite him home.
He is the same Calcuttan who will hail an auto , minibus bus or taxi in the middle of the road,
He is also the same person who will commit nuisance on the nearest wall,
Dont mind if he spits out of the window as you pass by unaware,
He belongs to the DO IT NOW AND HERE brigade.
Imagine your plight when he commits nuisance on your living room, to stop him you need a room without walls maybe.
Why blame the Bus, Auto ot taxi driver, who will stop in the middle of the street to pick up his customers. The Calcuttan wants it so...
Even in the red light areas customers are not picked up from the middle of the streets, they are not so frustrated and dont want it here and now.
Our Calcuttan must take a leaf out of their book .
The intelligensia will walk the streets for a Nandigram
but who will walk to bring some civic sense into the lazy
shameless Calcuttan.
There was a time when one was a proud Calcuttan...now i am ashamed to call myself one.
How is it that the same Calcuttan goes to any other city and follows the rules without any hesitation?
Is it because he does not care only if it is Calcutta, or is it because thats the way we want our Calcutta to be?
