INCREASING DIVORCE RATES IN INDIA

dear jimmy singh and secret person,
liked your comments even thoug i do not subscribe to them my self.
i only want to point out that there is no longer a financial dependence on men and women have begun to work for a living too.
so they should not tolerate any male chauvenism and look to divorce as an alternative if the matrriage is on the rocks.
all this time women were suppressed and did not have the financial independence but now they can stand up and be counted, instead of suffering in silence.
i would not call such suffering relationships marriage at all- it may be a relationship on dependence and convenience like a pet cat or dog.

westerners are apeing us and not we them as our rich culture has draupadi who shared 5 husbands at the same time... something even westerners will not be able to accept.

does the present male indian have the guts to follow this culture??
you have the answer...

Kolkata faces Nandigram mayhem

Dear Matheikal,
not only West Bengal, the whole of India is confused.
i Feel that politics has reached a nadir in india.

The politicians are using all their efforts in fooling the people for their personal gailns,
they have no qualms about using religious sentiments, or casteism or brute force
to meet their requirements.

This can only be stopped by the people who must wake up reality and chase out these politicians from the system.

its time for GENX  to wake up and take the reins....

Kolkata faces Nandigram mayhem

who is Taslima?
A nobody who rose to fame because of the fundamentalist uproar against her.
Neither her writing or her views are worthy of mention, at best it is a pedestrian view
on muslim fundamentalism.

She is but a pawn in indian politics who is being used by all and sundry and will be
consumed like toilet paper after use.

Anger in Kolkata-My City

Dear Reeti,
Its good to see Gen X  reacting to what is hapening in our cities.
No, you are mislead.
the hooligans or miscreants were juveline diliquents misguided by adult and political manipulators to create mayhem.
Taslima- they have not even  heard her name, leave alone know her writings.
they are not among the fortunate ones like you and me to have basic education and culture.

They were motivated to create chaos and they did their job, like they see all around them.
Bandhs, vilage takeovers, etc everything which they see in their day to day lives gave them
a chance to come live on television and become famous.

Dont blame them, blame the administration which has turned a blind eye to this kind of chaos
all over our country at the behest of political masters.

it is in your and our hands to change this by awakening our senses and change the values

Kolkata is dying like other places in india, dying from lack of culture, lack of civil sense
and only gen x can change this.....

NANDIGRAM FIRE BRINGS KOLKATA ON FLAMES

Dear Mr Basudev,
it seems that you are trying to wage a single handed war against the big and pompous CPM party.
Pray, is there any difference between them and the BJP in Gujrat, or Laloo in Bihar, or for the fact any Political party woth its name in India.
Sorry , not a single party is above this.

So before we rise up in distress, and criticise the powerful, let us find an alternative.
till then as Rape is Inevitable.... let us lie down and at least enjoy it.....

Politics is the last refuge of a scoundrel, and anybody in indian politics must be a confirmed criminal to be elected into the House of Parliament.

Democracy in india.... my foot....it is only in books that we can find such things.
Today might is right and ignore it at your peril.....

but times along with taste has changed, the old order changeth giving place to the new.

Nostalgia , the last straw, which binds our memories with the past makes life worth living.

No Smoking

Dear Eshi,
had writen a blog on smoking some time back....maybe interesting to you too...

We live in a world of pollution.
everything we do or use is polluting.,
the main question is How Much??

If we compare the pollution of smoking with automobile pollution we find that it is only a miniscule part of pollution.

if we stand in a busy throughfare we will inhale more polluted air than the smoke of 50000 cigarettes in half and hour.

Every pollution is acceptable after a comparison of the necessity and the proportionate damage to health/economy/politics etc.

We should encourage smoking because:

Our economy is dependant on the taxes accrued from this.If the government bans
smoking it stands to lose the salaries of at least 50000 government staff who have to be provided for. Look at Singapore- it has banned smoking as it is not dependant on its revenue and it does not have agriculture land connected to tobacco.

If tobacco plantation is banned lot of farmers will be out of work adding to the poverty of the country.

A more sober and realistic view would be to offer sops for smoking because they are already contributing to the state coffers by way of excise duty and sales tax.

so at least they should be given tax breaks based on consumption..

there should be awards for highest smoker.
ad campaigns like " A CIGARETTE A DAY KEEPS THE TAXMAN AWAY"

All those anti pollution lobbyists should first start  using bicycles instead of pollution cars.
I know of high profile Anti Smoking Lobbyists taking their car 5 kms to have their morning walk. this is the irony of such movements.

further we should propagate smoking so  that multination drug companies can make more money, and contribute to antismoking propaganda.

Passive Smokers- a very simple answer to avoid passive smoking- start smoking.

I love smoking. i will continue smoking and will also propagate smoking.

remember atlas shrugged!!

If All smokers stopped smoking imagine the chaos of unpaid government salaries farmer suicides Drug companies going out of business,Doctors increasing their fees - and finally
NO VISIBLE REDUCTION IN THE POLLUTED CITY AIRS.

SO IS SMOKING A HAZARD???

Spineless Sulekha

Dear Mr Sundar,
your post made good reading and sense.Sulekha did not respond properly to this menace
as they should have.
point taken but some more things remain unsaid:
a)plagarised and forwarded mails though not very ethical does play a role in the reading habits. there a millions of forwarded mails which are interesting but how many do each person see or read of them.... i would have read maybe a very few and if something is interesting it can be forwarded.

the purpose of this is to bring others to note it and not to make some added benefit out of it...this must be appreciated.

all newspapers write the same news ...can we call it plagarised or rewritten...we have personal choices and if anybody can show us something which makes interesting reading...even if it is plagarised is worth the effort.

The reward program could have been remodelled to filter out this bit but should not stop such things ever.... as it is also a freedom of speech.

books abound in schools and universities which we read and vomit.... and if that is plagarism too then schools will cease to function.....

in english literature examinations notes on questions and model answers are copied at random..... this is also plagarism.... a necessary evil.

Let us not let sulekha get away with this excuse that they have stopped rewards due to a necessary evil.... but go forward and do their bit in rewarding original views.

Not that i have used plagarised blogs and am trying to sunstantiate them.
my blogs have been original and only once i have sent a story which i got 10 years back and had kept it with me.... this i shared here.... all the rest has been my original work....
please take some time if you are interested to read some of them too...

Of Love And Life--A Blast From The Past

Dear friend,
for me love and life is not a blast from the past.
i believe in the present, and my present is romancing my wife, more than before,
walking the extra mile as i have never walked before, finding the romance where it had died,
trying to impress when she didnt need it,trying to make her feel desired and wanted like i never did.

try this too and you will never need a blast from the past to nostalgia....
nostalgia is a kind of regret, one never should have in love or life

INCREASING DIVORCE RATES IN INDIA

Dear secret person,
from your comment it looks as though you are a confirmed male chauvenistic pig.
added to that you are also a bigot who is leaving everything to poor god to take care of your
foibles and suppression of females.

incompatibility of tempermant is very possible and divorce  is the only solution which even god would approve.

marriages were made in heaven for gods and goddesses and divorces are madi on earth for humans so pls decide if you want to be god or human
